Prolong the Life of the Printer Cartridge

By Shafiq Ul Hasan

A P. C. is present in nearly every household these days. Without it we can't even do our basic chores. Similarly a cell phone is also a unreserved necessity. A cell telephone is used for more than making calls or getting texts. It's a complete way of life now and modern cell phones are used for all kinds of things from organizing calendars to installing a fax to phone service. It is easy to receive free fax on the phone or on the computer by installing free fax software on the PC or your Smartphone. This saves a lot of time and money also. It even saves precious printer ink.

Printer ink is pretty expensive and if you've got to print many pages every day, the cost can be quite high. Some companies even make buyers falsely believe that they are out of ink even when they have refilled the printer. This is because they insert a chip in the cartridge that sends messages to the PC that it is empty. This way the client is pushed into buying a refill from the same company. This is a marketing method and customers must be aware of it. There are a few ways the printer ink can be lengthened to some degree.

First of all, when picking the printing option, select "Draft" rather than "Normal" for the quality of the print. This can save ink ultimately. Refill the empty printer cartridges with a refill kit. If your printer uses microchip, this is a rather more difficult task because filing this type of cartridge is pretty difficult. If you fill the cartridge with ink, before it really send an "out of ink" message will also prolong the ink. Employ a CISS or constant ink supply system. This guarantees a steady flow of ink and the ink lasts longer.

It is better to replace the ink as quickly as the PC shows evidence of low ink. If you try to use up the last drop of ink, it'll only damage the cartridge. If you don't have anything insistent, switch off the computer when you go to bed at night. This could also make the ink last for longer. Keep new cartridges at room temperature and avoid real exposure to temperature. It is also advisable to run the printer head cleaning function now and then. This makes sure that the cartridge goes smoothly and is dust free and clean.

Printer ink is expensive but if you search online, you may be able to find it at discounted costs and you can also find coupons for printer ink. Vouchers are a great way of saving money and can help you save as much as 15%. Make sure you compare the costs of printer in before you order online. Some stores might give you better value deals so compare the costs before you place the order. Refill kits also save money but ensure you check the type of printer you own before buying the refill kit. This is because some printer cartridges don't work with refill kits.
