Why you need your Mac Accessories

By Reinhard Gelonka

When I first got my Macbook Pro there was clearly not a thing more I wanted - it cost me a lots of money and it was the most suitable arrangement with the most possible RAM available in May 2011. One year later it is still a terrific laptop computer and although many personal computers are regarded as old at the time you buy them I'd say my Macbook was more an investment decision than a piece of technique losing money because I know it will be a excellent computer for many years.

But the moment I switched to the Mac I observed my thinking towards technique stuff changing as well - all of a sudden I needed a related iPhone and yes, not to ignore, a related iPad. I justified these payments with the fact that I can run my internet business much quicker and more efficient and even if I wasn't at home - with the help of my iPhone and iPad I could get hold of the programmer if one of my internet sites are not running. It is also amazing that both devices sync my emails, downloads, etc. - I just love that.

To make a long story short - that wasn't the only thing I got. Although I could get the job done perfectly on my notebook screen with my old computer - I all of a sudden needed a wonderful display - 27 inches, with a quality that is a pleasure for your eyes - the Thunderbolt Display. Of course, with the investment into a Thunderbolt Display you will also have to get a nice wireless keyboard and the Apple Magic Mouse.

My equipment was not complete until I also had set up a Time Capsule to protect my data from failure.

To make a long story short - yes, I became a nerd. A technic geek. I love Apple solutions and I love the fact that they all cooperate with each other, that the programs swap information and that all this saves me so much time I can use to grow my business.

Once you are a Mac geek you need to be very careful not to spend a fortune on it. But what you get is good high quality stuff you will love for years to come.

Lately though I noticed that many third party gadgets for your Mac loaded the market. So there are no longer "just" the Apple gadgets but also some great Mac accessories such as very interesting Macbook Pro Bags in form of a book, a mouse battery recharger you plug into your computer or a case for your mouse.

Of course anyone needs to decide herself what is really a need and what a nice gift but I can just say that I really like my gadgets.
