A Thorough Review of the Apple MacBook MC516LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop

By Linen Stanton

There are now so many impressive laptops on the market that choosing the best models of 2012 is no easy task. The best we can do is discuss some of the things to be aware of when shopping for a laptop and mention a few good examples of brands whose offerings are noteworthy. Remember to focus on what you really need and not get caught up in the hype over features you'll never use. As well as some make money online tips.

When buying a computer, you should always be clear about the manufacturer's warranty, as you never know when something might go wrong. Apple provides a one year limited warranty when you buy a new MacBook, and you also get 90 days of free telephone support. This is helpful, but it may not be enough, as even if everything is working well on your computer, you may have a question you want to ask. For this reason, it might be worth investing in the AppleCare Protection Plan, which gives you full access to technical support by phone for three years. It also covers parts and labor in case anything has to be replaced on your Mac during this time.

The Apple MacBook MC516LL/A comes with the Mac OS X Snow Leopard operating system, which includes many useful software programs, including ITunes, Quick Look, Photo Booth, Safari, QuickTime and many others. Yet Apple has recently come up with an even more advanced operating system called Lion. Depending on where you buy your MacBook from, it may come installed with OS X Lion installed. Yet, if you get the Snow Leopard version, you'll be able to get a free upgrade to Lion. For most purposes, you may not notice much of a difference between the two operation systems, but Lion includes additional Multi Touch capabilities and apps, as well as Mission Control, a feature that makes it easier to view everything on your computer at once.

The Dell Inspiron R laptops have an impressive number of features, especially for laptops in this price range, but they have a few flaws that are worth noting. The screen is usually easy to see, but in low lighting it tends to have a glare that can be distracting. Although the colorful and appealing design of the Inspiron is one of its best features, if you're not careful, the back cover scratches easily. Of course, no computer is perfect and the Inspiron R laptops are generally well designed, but these are a couple of points you should be aware of if considering this brand and model. Just like my binary code reviews.

Apple laptops are well regarded by many people, and the MacBook MC516LL/A gives you the chance to buy one at a more affordable price than some other models. At the same time, you still get all the features that make MacBooks popular, such as wireless connectivity, lots of software and a built-in camera.
